Energy Protein Bites Recipe

These little bites pack a punch of protein, fibre and healthy fats!! Great for those who are dairy-free and gluten free.

Perfect one handed snack for my breast feeding mamas, for my girls with PCOS who need a blood sugar balancing snack, and really for anyone who needs more protein in there diet (and let’s be honest, almost all of us do!).

Ingredients:

1 cup organic rolled oats (gluten-free)

1 Tbsp chia seeds

1 tsp cinnamon

1 scoop of protein powder of choice

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 cup raisins

1/2 cup almond butter or peanut butter

1/4 cup raw honey

splash of vanilla

Directions:

Combine oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, protein powder, choc chips, & raisins.

Add your nut or seed butter, honey & vanilla. Stir until combined. (Sometimes I use my kitchen aid mixer to do this for me!)

Form into golf ball sized balls and place on a tray in the fridge for 1 hour at least.

Enjoy! Store leftovers in the fridge and east within 5 days.
